You can help us make sure that AI in Scotland is trustworthy, ethical & inclusive.

The Scottish AI Alliance are looking to connect and collaborate with communities, community-embedded organisations and civil society networks across Scotland as part of our engagement roadshow.

Why get involved?

We want to make sure that all people in Scotland can join the conversation on AI and help steer Scotland’s AI Strategy.

To do this we would like to work in partnership with communities across the country to explore what AI trust, ethics and inclusion means to different groups – building relationships that enable community intelligence to shape our relationship with artificial intelligence.

Scotland is made special by the diverse groups which make it up. We believe that everyone should have a say in how AI technologies impact their life, and we want to create space for that to happen.

As the use of AI grows, so does its impact. If you want to have a say in what AI trust, ethics and inclusion mean to your community - you can by getting involved.

Who can get involved?

We would love to connect with any interested group in Scotland, and we are particularly interested in working with groups whom Scottish society and structures of power marginalise and minoritise.We would love to hear from:

  • Community groups

  • Community centres

  • Community anchor organisations

  • Community networks

  • Charities

  • Civil society support organisations

How can we get involved?

We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and are happy to create a bespoke experience for every group and organisation we work with.

We can come to you! As part of our roadshow we want to meet groups and people how and where they are. This could be a light-touch information session to discover more about AI and how it works, or we could work deeply together to explore important issues within the world of AI with more extensive sessions.

Whether you’d like to dip a toe into the world of AI and just find out more as a group, or would rather build a deep project together where you help to steer Scotland’s AI future – we’re here for it!
