We are looking for a best practices review of community participatory/engagement mechanisms.

Background

Scotland’s AI Strategy is committed to developing an effective mechanism for civil society’s participation in its delivery. We have undertaken some stakeholder engagement in this space and we are keen to ensure that we are aware of best practices in this space so today we have issued an Invitation to Quote for a piece of research associated with this.

We are inviting proposals from companies to undertake a piece of desk-based research of best practices in community participatory mechanisms for the delivery of a government strategy. We expect the research to look at examples in Scotland, UK and beyond. We are particularly interested in what worked well and what didn’t work so well. The output of this research will provide the groundwork to inform the next steps in the process of designing a mechanism for Scotland’s AI Strategy.
