Dr Christopher Austin is a physician executive and UK trained radiologist with over 20 years of clinical and industry experience in digital health, analytics, and AI. He is a recognised thought leader in the healthcare technology sector, and has been featured in various publications including Fast Company, Aunt Minnie, DotMed, AI Med and others. He currently works for AWS Healthcare (Amazon Web Services) as the Global Physician Lead for Healthcare Research Organisations and Diagnostics, providing cloud based strategies and tools that accelerate healthcare research and innovation, including AI. Prior to AWS, Dr Austin was Chief Medical Officer for Kheiron Medical Technologies, a leading radiology AI company with headquarters in London. In this role, he worked with clinicians, scientists and engineers to develop, test, secure regulatory clearance, and safely implement radiology AI solutions across the globe. This included working with NHS Scotland. Dr Austin's industry career began at GE Healthcare, where he served in various international digital health roles, including 3 years as Medical Director for Imaging AI and Analytics. 

Dr Austin, a dual UK/US national, is based in the tech hub and coffee capital of Seattle, with strong Scottish ties and regular travel to Scotland. He earned his medical degree from Glasgow University, has a Glaswegian wife who serves as an Ambassador for the Scottish Business Network in Seattle, and has a daughter attending the University of St Andrews.
